I remember the Vedic scriptures
when the Gods went to war,
almost destroyed the world in rage
it's not our first time around
with flying saucers and nuclear bombs,
the Romans had robots too.
Suddenly the power was switched off
and witchcraft was outlawed,
because that's what it is - technology,
and here we are again.
monkeys playing the same old songs
on Bastiats island,
Drums, drums of war in the distance
as for all crisis turns into
conflicts - soon doeth the forests burn
and all gilded promises
are worn off, to then forge weapons
of the materials instead.
As Edgar Cayce once said so eloquently,
Hope is in Russia
the question is if that's Pandoras Box
the salvation of mankind,
or perhaps natural law, dividing scales
thinning out the herds.
Or just Doctor Hyde and Mister Green,
playing switch'n bait
runnin' their open-air work camps
we're living through it
but might not survive the ordeals,
because its insanity.
