It was pink and blue meltin' together
in the white heart
of fluidity, blindfolded lovers
the weight of the world
on their shoulders.
Like Rembrandt sellin' erotic pictures
out the backdoor,
like Da Vinci's conveiled mysteries
of Illuminatis smile
this was a scream instead.
In madness it devoured them both
in different ways,
one travelled the world, the other
ended in a nursing home
dis' the story of Mona Liza 1984.

In so many shades and colours burn't
the starry hues glows
was it poured in chest to bind, bind
the demons inside its grains
of moonlit shades.
As a graven image past dissolved
poured over the oak,
I did not even know what I did until
the initial rituals finished
and silence fell.
As in the salt was writ a covenant
to make future anew
another path ; another way forth
through the leaping shadow
of its ley lines.
