We never had a lover's quarrel for we do not exist
we never spoke words of anger, in fury
or in wrath flung ourselves as flames entwin'd
to sort out the mess we both left,
but as candles lit for Easter, in prayer were :
only hoped to meet you soon

but steer past ill-tempers and roaring waves
