To notice for Egyptian stylization
the flat perspective
of the chisel and the brush
to fill them out like a mold
to make for an imprint.
To seek Thoth is the Divine purpose
for at the end of time
there is but the Starry Heavens
to gaze upon in admiration
for the clockwork which blossoms
and withers continously.
Then to dwell at the Sphinx
for its incompletion
and head which match not
the base it was sculpted on,
and without intricate details
Ah, they speak much of the elixirs
of immortality
but understand not their mortality
is the very force which
like a chariot makes its way
through the deserts.
Then to wander past the columns
to see fading contours
of scales in the temples
the vibrant flows which in the sun
became white over time.
There to make holy the Regalia
for their cloth
is like an apron at a Grand Feast
only crumbs fall into it
but it satiates all hunger and thirst
as starlights grace. .
To wander in these sacred halls
is for wonders made
of the ancient world still a riddle
to which no solution exist
without their holy books.
